A Special Project of Tenet
ODES: A Celebration of St. Cecilia
On November 22, 2011, TENET embarked on a new annual tradition to celebrate the patron saint of musicians entitled ODES. The ensemble’s inaugural performances were presented by Trinity Wall Street, and an all-star cast offered the music of Henry Purcell, one of England’s most celebrated and beloved composers. TENET performed a program including three ODES along with instrumental works, and an aria for voice and trumpet, all by Henry Purcell (1659–1695).
